Stored script execution via unescaped evento parameter
Published Sep 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Certifica WP 3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the evento shortcode parameter. The certificawp shortcode handler accepts the evento attribute and renders its value without sufficient sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the payload persists in page content and executes with the viewing user's web-session privileges whenever that page is accessed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
