Browser script execution via unescaped noaccess_msg
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Employee Directory 4.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via noaccess_msg. The form front-end code accepts noaccess_msg without sufficient sanitization and later emits the value without context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in browsers that load an affected page, enabling page-context data access or actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
