CVE-2025-8293Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped date parameter

Published Aug 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Stored XSS in Intl DateTime Calendar 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the date parameter. The date parameter accepts untrusted markup without sufficient sanitization, and page rendering emits it without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the script executes in a visitor's browser when an injected page is opened, enabling data access or page modification within that session.
