Script execution via reflected search parameter
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in Boybawang WP Talroo 2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script through a crafted search URL. The results page writes the search query parameter into HTML without sanitization or output escaping, causing attacker-supplied markup to execute in the visitor's browser. The site must have a configured results page with Talroo attribution enabled, and a victim must open the crafted URL; the script then runs within that visitor's site origin.
