Authenticated arbitrary file upload via file manager
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in 299Ko CMS 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to upload arbitrary files. The /admin/filemanager/view handler accepts uploaded content without restricting dangerous file types, allowing attacker-selected files to be stored by the CMS. Administrative access to the web interface is required, and the demonstrated consequence is placement of a PHP file on the server.
