Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized xajaxargs
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
OS command injection in Vaelsys VaelsysV4 5.0, 5.1, 5.1.0, 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands. The execute_DataObjectProc function in /grid/vgrid_server.php sends attacker-controlled xajaxargs data into OS command processing without neutralizing command syntax. The web interface is reachable without authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation operates with the web-service process's privileges.
