Authenticated code execution via unvalidated image upload
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Online Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a PHP file. The image handler in /admin/product.php accepts executable PHP extensions and content without validation, then stores the files in a web-accessible, executable uploads directory. Access to the admin product-management page and valid session credentials are required; a planted web shell enables commands with the web server's privileges.
