Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized firstname parameter
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Online Ordering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter its database through signup.php. The signup handler inserts the multipart firstname value directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. The public registration endpoint requires no authentication, exposing database reads, writes, deletion, and service interruption within the database account's permissions.
