Router crash via oversized submit-url parameter
Published Jul 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Buffer overflow in the HTTP POST handler of TOTOLINK X15 1.0.0-B20230714.1105 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router. The /boafrm/formRoute handler processes an oversized submit-url form value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. A valid sessionCheck value is present in the disclosed request, and the demonstrated consequence is denial of service rather than data access or modification.
