Command execution and service interruption via crafted macstr
Published Jul 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Command injection in TOTOLINK X15 1.0.0-B20230714.1105 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via an HTTP POST request. The /boafrm/formMapDelDevice handler accepts shell metacharacters in macstr, while an oversized value triggers a stack overflow. Both published requests contain a sessionCheck token; exploitation can execute commands or interrupt the router.
