Administrative deletion via missing CSRF validation
Published Jul 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
CSRF in jerryshensjf JPACookieShop at commit 24a15c02b4f75042c9f7f615a3fed2ec1cefb999 allows remote attackers to delete cake types. The /admin/type_delete handler accepts an attacker-supplied id without validating a CSRF token or the request origin, so the browser submits its authenticated session cookie. A logged-in administrator must open a forged page; the demonstrated consequence is deletion of a cake-type record.
