Unauthenticated SQL injection via language cookie
Published Jul 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 11, 2025
SQL injection in Engeman Web 12.0.0.0 through 12.0.0.2 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data without authentication. The password recovery handler at /Login/RecoveryPass incorporates the LanguageCombobox cookie into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Loading the public password recovery page is sufficient; blind, error-based, and stacked-query payloads can disclose or alter database records.
