Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped widget attributes
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in wowDevs Sky Addons for Elementor 3.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget attributes. Multiple widget render paths store user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and emit them without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient; the JavaScript runs in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page and can read or alter data available to that session.
