Android task hijacking in Canara Bank Canara ai1 Mobile Banking App 3.6.23 allows local users to replace its task with a phishing activity. AndroidManifest.xml leaves taskAffinity at its package-name default, so a malicious app can create the same task stack and place its activity at the root. Exploitation requires a malicious app on an Android device before Android 11 and victim interaction; the fake activity can capture credentials or induce permission grants.
