Website spoofing via disabled HSTS enforcement
Published Jul 26, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Improper HSTS enforcement in Comodo Dragon 134.0.6998.179 and earlier allows remote attackers to present spoofed HTTPS sites. Dragon disables HSTS enforcement and offers a proceed option after an invalid certificate on an HSTS-protected domain instead of blocking the connection. Exploitation requires traffic or DNS redirection and user interaction; a successful attempt lets the spoofed site replace trusted web content.
