CVE-2025-8162Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated database disclosure via unsafe dataScope interpolation

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2025

SQL injection in deerwms deer-wms-2 3.0 through 3.3 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted request. The SysDeptMapper selectDeptList mapping inserts params.dataScope directly into SQL through literal substitution rather than a bound parameter. Access requires the system:dept:list permission; the demonstrated error-based payload discloses the database name, while additional effects depend on database privileges.
