Browser script execution via crafted router URL
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Cross-site scripting in NEC UNIVERGE IX and IX-R/IX-V router HTTP(S) services allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted URL. NEC identifies the HTTP(S) server as the locus but has not disclosed the affected parameter or precise output-neutralization failure. A user must follow the URL while HTTP(S) is enabled; on UNIVERGE IX, an authenticated Web Console session lets the script run CLI commands with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
