Authenticated SQL injection via ancestors substitution
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2025
SQL injection in deerwms deer-wms-2 3.0 through 3.3 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data via ancestors. SysDeptMapper.xml inserts the user-controlled ancestors value directly into the dept_id IN clause through unbound MyBatis substitution. The edit endpoint requires the system:dept:edit permission, and exploitation is limited to data accessible through the application database account.
