CVE-2025-8107Network attack vector

SYS-level escalation via crafted database commands

Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025

Privilege escalation in OceanBase Database allows remote authenticated users with CREATE PROCEDURE rights to gain SYS-level access. OceanBase has not published the affected command path or the operation that incorrectly crosses the Oracle tenant privilege boundary. The issue requires an Oracle-mode tenant and specific privileges; MySQL-mode tenants are unaffected, and exploitation compromises database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
