Cross-site scripting in Hanwha Vision QNV-C8012 before 2.22.05 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted XML. The camera web service inadequately validates strings in XML request messages and routes crafted input through improper exception-handling logic that triggers XSS. Exploitation requires the CloudConnector OpenPlatform app to be installed and running, and successful execution affects the browser session processing the response.
