Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped filter name
Published Aug 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Plugincy's Dynamic AJAX Product Filters for WooCommerce 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The rendering path in includes/filter-template.php inserts the stored name parameter into page HTML without sanitizing the value or escaping it for the output context. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script runs in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
