Stored XSS via unescaped audio block attribute
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in CloudVod LMS 2.1.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated attackers to inject scripts through the audio parameter. The audio-player block renderer in build/audioplayer/render.php inserts the audio value into generated page markup without sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access or above is required; the stored script runs when an injected page is viewed and can read or modify data available to that page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
