Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode style attribute
Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Bible SuperSearch 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through selector_height. The demo shortcode handler interpolates the unsanitized selector_height attribute into a single-quoted inline style value, allowing markup and script injection. Contributor-level access is required to save the crafted shortcode, and the payload executes when a user opens the affected page.
