Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked WAN parameter
Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025
Buffer overflow in the LBT-T300-T310 2.2.3.6 management CGI allows remote authenticated users to corrupt device memory. The start_wan function accepts the wan_proto POST parameter without a length restriction after apply.cgi dispatches it through sub_40B6F0. The published payload requires a Basic-authenticated management session; public evidence demonstrates neither code execution nor a specific service failure.
