Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the gallery shortcode in GN Themes Shortcodes Ultimate 7.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The gallery renderer inserts stored image Title and Slide link values into HTML attributes without escaping event-handler syntax or blocking javascript URLs. Author-level access is required; the payload executes for users who view the gallery and hover over a crafted title or follow a crafted slide link.
