CVE-2025-7945Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unbounded curTime formatting

Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025

Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-513 firmware 20190831 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted HTTP request. The formSetWanDhcpplus handler reads the curTime POST parameter and passes it to sprintf for concatenation into a fixed-size stack buffer without checking its length. A valid low-privilege web-management session is required, and exploitation corrupts memory, causing a router crash or code execution in the firmware context.
