Authenticated browser script execution via unencoded adminname
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in PHPGurukul Auto/Taxi Stand Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. The admin-profile.php handler stores the adminname POST value and renders it into the HTML body without sanitization or output encoding. Administrator authentication and a subsequent profile view are required, limiting the demonstrated consequence to script execution in that browser session.
