Stored script execution via unencoded profile name
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Time Table Generator System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through the adminname field. The profile update handler stores adminname without sanitization and renders it into an HTML body without output encoding. An authenticated administrator must submit the payload and later view the profile; the injected script then runs in that browser session.
