Command injection in ssdpcgi on D-Link DIR-817L 1.04B01 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The ssdpcgi binary passes attacker-controlled request data to lxmldbc_system without neutralizing shell metacharacters, causing the router to interpret injected text as operating-system commands. Low-privileged network access is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the ssdpcgi process privileges.
