Authenticated memory corruption via setparentcontrolinfo buffer overflow
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 15.03.06.50 httpd allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via setparentcontrolinfo requests. The handler processes a crafted request without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds; the public report does not name the input field or copy primitive. Low-privilege access to the router's HTTP interface is required, and successful exploitation compromises the affected router process.
