Authenticated user-data modification via persisted manipulated identity

IDOR in TYPO3 femanager 6.4.1 and earlier, 7.0.0 through 7.5.2, and 8.0.0 through 8.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter user data. When the __identity parameter is changed, Extbase maps the supplied identity to another user object, and the extension's incident logging persists the manipulated object instead of rejecting it. An authenticated frontend account with access to the Edit plugin is required, and exploitation writes arbitrary fields in other frontend user records.
