Authenticated file upload via unrestricted photo parameter
Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in CodeCanyon iDentSoft 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to upload files through the Account Setting page. The /clinica/profile/updateSetting endpoint accepts the photo argument without restricting dangerous file types. A high-privilege account is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates an uploaded cross-site-scripting payload rather than server-side code execution.
