CVE-2025-7896Network attack vector

File read or deletion via unchecked path joins

Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025

Path traversal in MoneyPrinterTurbo 1.2.0 through 1.2.6 allows remote attackers to read or delete server files via crafted API paths. The download_video and delete_video handlers join attacker-controlled path or task identifiers to the task directory without canonicalizing the result or enforcing directory containment before FileResponse reads it or shutil.rmtree removes it. The download route is exposed without token verification; deletion additionally requires a task identifier present in application state.
