Credential theft via default task affinity
Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Task hijacking in Dunamu StockPlus App 7.62.0 through 7.62.10 allows local users to display a phishing screen through a malicious app. The manifest leaves task affinity at the package-name default, allowing a malicious singleTask activity with the same affinity to occupy the task root and appear when StockPlus opens. The victim must install and run the malicious app before launching StockPlus on Android before 11, exposing credentials or other entered data.
