CVE-2025-7879Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated web-shell upload via unchecked file extension

Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in MetaCRM 6.4.0 through 6.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to write executable files via mobileupload.jsp. The endpoint passes the supplied File item to item.write() without validating its extension and returns the stored path. Low-privileged access is required, and an uploaded JSP web shell executes commands in the application server's security context.
