Dangerous file upload via unchecked extension
Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in MetaCRM 6.4.0 through 6.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to store dangerous files via sendfile.jsp. The upload handler concatenates path and fieldID and saves the result without validating the supplied file extension. A valid low-privilege session is required; server-side execution follows when the uploaded extension is handled as executable content.
