CVE-2025-7863Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated external redirect via unrestricted URL argument

Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 22, 2025

Open redirect in ThinkGem JeeSite 5.0 through 5.12.0 allows remote authenticated users to send victims to an external site. ServletUtils.redirectUrl passes a user-controlled absolute url argument directly to HttpServletResponse.sendRedirect when it contains a scheme, without restricting the destination. Low-privileged access and victim interaction are required, and a crafted trusted-site link can deliver the victim to an attacker-controlled page.
