Cross-site scripting via unsanitized visitor name
Published Jul 19, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Apartment Visitors Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through visname. The create-pass.php handler accepts visname from an HTTP POST request without neutralizing browser-active content before placing it in page output. Administrative privileges are required to submit the value, and another user's browser must render the affected output for script execution.
