Stored XSS via unvalidated data-uuid attribute
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in StreamWeasels Twitch Integration 1.9.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via data-uuid. The plugin places a user-supplied UUID into data-uuid without adequate validation or escaping, allowing attribute content to become executable page markup. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes when a visitor opens the affected page.
