Administrative takeover via hard-coded credentials
Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Tigo Energy Cloud Connect Advanced 4.0.1 and earlier allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. CISA identifies embedded administrative credentials but does not disclose the account, storage locus, or interface that accepts them. Network reachability is sufficient; successful use grants full device control, including settings changes and interruption of solar production and safety functions.
