User redirection via unrestricted redirect parameter
Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Open redirect in ThinkGem JeeSite 5.12.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to an external site through a crafted request. SiteController.select concatenates the user-controlled redirect parameter into a redirect response without restricting the destination. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the crafted JeeSite URL; the result is navigation to an attacker-chosen site.
