CVE-2025-7762Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated device compromise via malformed management request

Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8100 16.07.26A1 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the device via a crafted HTTP request. The HTTP handler processes attacker-controlled input to /menu_nat_more.asp without enforcing stack-buffer bounds, but published material does not identify the triggering parameter or copy operation. A valid low-privilege session is required; exploitation can interrupt service or corrupt execution, while reliable arbitrary code execution is not publicly established.
