Authenticated code execution via unchecked image upload
Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 17, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Online Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted image. The edit_product.php handler accepts the image part without checking its extension, MIME type, or content, then stores it in a web-accessible executable directory. Access to the admin product-edit function is required; an uploaded PHP web shell permits commands with the web server account's privileges.
