Administrator command execution via unauthenticated HTTP upload
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Jul 25, 2025
Authentication bypass in all LG Innotek LNV5110R firmware versions allows remote attackers to run administrator commands via HTTP POST. The firmware accepts an unauthenticated HTTP POST upload and writes its content to non-volatile storage, creating a path to command execution. Network access to the camera's HTTP service is required; exploitation needs no account or user interaction but has high attack complexity.
