CVE-2025-7741

PROG account access via hardcoded password

Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026

Hardcoded credentials in CENTUM VP R5.01.00 through R5.04.20, R6.01.00 through R6.12.00, and R7.01.00 allow local users to log in as PROG. The LHS1100/LHM1101, VP6H1100, and VP7H1100 operation and monitoring functions embed the PROG password used by CENTUM Authentication Mode rather than requiring a unique secret. Exploitation requires obtaining the password, access to HIS screen controls, and CENTUM Authentication Mode; default S1 permissions limit PROG to ordinary operation and monitoring, while modified permissions expose the associated operations or configuration changes.
