CVE-2025-7738Network attack vector

Privileged OAuth2 client secret disclosure via API

Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 23, 2025

Information disclosure in django-ansible-base before 2025.7.22 allows remote authenticated users to read OAuth2 client secrets. The GitHub Enterprise plugins register nonexistent ENTERPRISE_SECRET field names, so AuthenticatorSerializer returns the actual SECRET value instead of the encrypted placeholder. An administrator or auditor must request the authenticator configuration endpoint; exposure is limited to configured GitHub Enterprise OAuth2 secrets.
