Stored XSS via unsanitized profile name
Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Stored XSS in Scada-LTS 2.7.8.0 through 2.7.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in other users' browsers. The usersProfiles.shtm endpoint stores the userprofilename value without adequate validation or sanitization and renders the value when the page is opened. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to save a payload and another user to open the page, exposing session data and page actions.
