Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds print processing read
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Out-of-bounds reads in Canon Generic Plus printer drivers 3.30 and earlier allow attackers to expose memory during print processing. The print-processing code reads beyond a memory buffer when handling output from an attacker-controlled program; Canon has not disclosed the affected file or function. Exploitation requires active user interaction and concurrent processing with an ordinary application, and it can expose process memory or interrupt that application's printing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
