Stored XSS via faulty nonce validation
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Affiliate Plus 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts through administrator interaction. The affiplus_settings page accepts attacker-chosen settings without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, permitting script content to be saved. An authenticated site administrator must follow a crafted link, after which the forged request stores script content that runs in the site's administrative context.
