Unauthenticated directory deletion via unchecked REST path

Path traversal in Assistant for NextGEN Gallery 1.0.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary server directories. The /wp-json/nextgenassistant/v1.0.0/control REST endpoint accepts a user-controlled filesystem path and performs directory deletion without verifying that the resolved path remains within an intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion of application or system directories can interrupt the hosted service completely.
